1930s House, Westlands
Case Study – 1930s House, Westlands, Newcastle-under-Lyme
Roof Care North Staffs were asked to carry out a reroofing project on a large 1930s house in the Westlands, Newcastle-under-Lyme. The roof coverings had reached the end of their lifespan and required full replacement.
The Project
The roof was stripped and recovered using Hawkins Staffordshire Blue plain clay tiles. To achieve a precise and durable finish, purpose-made fittings were installed on the hips and valleys. Care was taken to maintain the traditional character of the property while providing a roof built to modern standards.
The Outcome
The completed roof has transformed the property, enhancing both its appearance and long-term protection. The client was delighted with the result, commenting:
“The roof looks amazing, and all who have worked on it have been great. Thoughtful, kind and considerate. A pleasure to have them around!”
